Volunteer & Internship - Nourishing lives:

Intern and Volunteer Opportunities

For those looking to make a direct impact through their time and skills, the Food Box Foundation offers a variety of internship and volunteer opportunities. Whether you’re a student, young professional, or someone with a passion for community service, you can help us in our mission to feed and educate children in need.

Volunteer Opportunities:

A. Meal Distribution
Volunteers play a vital role in distributing meals to children in schools, shelters, and other community spaces. This hands-on opportunity allows you to see the direct impact of your work while interacting with the children who benefit from our programs.

B. Educational Support
We are always in need of volunteers to assist with our education programs. Whether it’s tutoring children, organizing school supplies, or helping to plan educational events, your time and skills can make a big difference in a child’s learning experience.

C. Event Volunteering
We frequently organize events, such as fundraisers and community outreach programs, where volunteers are essential to success. Event volunteers help with everything from setup and logistics to marketing and participant engagement. It’s a great way to get involved, meet like-minded people, and contribute to a good cause.

Internship Opportunities:

  1. Program Management Internships
Our program management internships offer hands-on experience in running nonprofit initiatives. Interns work alongside our team to coordinate meal distribution, educational programs, and community outreach. This is an ideal opportunity for students and young professionals looking to gain experience in the nonprofit sector.
  2. Communications and Fundraising Internships
For those interested in marketing, communications, or fundraising, our internships offer valuable experience in nonprofit messaging, donor relations, and social media management. Interns help create campaigns that raise awareness about our mission and encourage donations.
  3. Child Development Internships
Interns in our child development program work directly with children, assisting with educational activities, mentoring, and supporting their overall development. This role is ideal for students studying education, social work, or child psychology.
